Welcome to the St. Thomas Curling Club!

 

Please accept this message as a NOTICE OF A SPECIAL MEETING, to be held on Wednesday April 8, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. for the purpose of elections to the Executive Board and for the purpose of an update on the renovation plan. It has been emailed to all member that have not removed themselves from our list.

We have four (4) Board positions become vacant as per the terms of the Bylaws.

Those people are Ellen Luft, Peter Inch, Mike Langley, and Darlene Vance.

Darlene has indicated that she is not reoffering her name to continue.

Mike, Ellen, and Peter have indicated that they are willing to stand for election for another term, so we will be electing four people at the meeting.

The nominating committee does not have a fourth name to recommend, so hopefully we will elect someone from the floor unless nominations are submitted prior to the meeting.

If you are unable to attend the meeting and wish to submit a proxy vote, please use the attached form. The proxy holder must be present at the meeting. 

According to the bylaws, found under members, member documents, on the website, proxies must be submitted not later than two (2) days prior to the meeting. The must be received on or before Monday April 6th, 2026, by email to wecurl@stthomascurlingclub.com or given to a Board member in person on or before Monday April 6th, 2026 not later than 5:15 p.m. to a Board member.
